Default How to clean an ARC type titanium shit knob

I purchased the ARC type shift knob from demonderrick group buy a couple weeks ago. It seems now that the baked titanium finish has like a film from it. I am assuming just oils from my hand. How would you guys go about cleaning this without damaging the finish?

no comment on the shit knob...
but i would probably try a chrome polish or chrome cleaner on the ti knob-
Blue-Job Powder Chrome Polish would be one choice.
or maybe Original Formula Wenol (red tube).
and there are others too.

If you use 303 CLEANER (not protectant) it should do a fine job. The cleaner can be used from jobs like degreasing engines and cleaning oil drums to washing your fruits and veggies. I'll bet it works great. Or, you could try a chrome polish, but not sure how well it would work. Take it off the shifter first, you don't want to accidentally stain the vinyl or shift boot.

There is no finish on the knob. That color come from burning the ti. If the something on it just clean it with rubbing alcohol.
