I use a leaf blower and a chamois for touch up wiping.

... a quick drive on the highway at about 120mph does the trick for me.

Although actually, anything in excess of 65 seems to work pretty well too.

Water Sprite towel dealy. Like a chamois, but better. Works pretty well.

Moved to Wash and Wax.

Take the spray nozzle off the hose and rinse the car top to bottom to sheet most of the water away.
Then get what's left with a Big Blue microfiber towel.

I've used The Absorber for about 15 years now, but at a couple of peoples insistance I tried the California Waterblade (actually tried the cheapo knock-off version first w/ poor results) a couple of months ago and it seems to really be a time saver. It still makes me just a little bit nervous but I see no ill effects and keep it clean religiously.

At the moment I finish off the water left on the car w/ my tired old Absorber (no it's not 15 years old, only about 2) but I've broken down just this week and decided to try the Big Blue Towel that everyone in this forum seems to think is the best thing in the world.

actually i use a squegee (one of the purple ca ones) and then use the absorber to follow up afterwards...ahh, nice and dry after that

i guess if I owned a leaf blower i might actually used it but Im not big into yardwork hehe.

Ubetit

1. Keep car freshly waxed or Zainoed
2. Take the sprayer off your hose
3. Start at the top of the car and let the stream of water from the hose just sheet off the car.
4. Dry car with one MF towel.
