how to get this off my soft top

Default how to get this off my soft top

is there a better way to get bird droppings off the soft top? can i rub it off with plain water? thanks.

Soap + water. If that doesn't work 303 convert. top cleaner.

plain water may work with some "fingernail work" depending if the birdsh**t hardened..

but most use

303 cleaner
then
303 protectant

the thing with bird shit is that its really easy to take off when fresh, but once it settles you're screwed. same thing wiht your paint. if you take it off quickly, there is no damage. but if you let it sit, the shit is acidic and will go through your clear coat.

Bird shat on mine in the summer and it was still fairly fresh when I returned to it. So popped into local shop brough some towels and some bottled water and sorted it out there and then. 303 protected it later and it is not even visible in any light from any angle but alas I think that the speed at getting it off is the key to these things.
