Hey everyone,
Ive been digging around the internet trying to figure out how to use the Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit and NXT 2.0. Im still confused as hell. The Smooth Surface Clay Kit comes with Meguair's Cleaner Wax. Obviously, I clay the car first to prep it. My question is, should I apply the cleaner wax before the NXT, and layer it. From what Ive read, the NXT 2.0 does not have cleaner wax properties, so it shouldn't remove the first coat.
Thoughts?

 

that is just a sample to attract you to their product. You could use it before using the NXT if you want, but it you wash the car with dishwashing soap and then clay you really don't need the cleaner wax. It won't hurt to use it, but I probably would skip that step.

 

Cleaner wax will remove all other previous coats of wax. It has to go on before NXT or you'll just be removing it.

 

like said, just washt the car with dishsoap, clay bar it, wash it with regular car soap, then do any buffing/waxing as neccasary
