Long story short.. I bought a pack of the mf towels from Costco, (not paying close attention to the label)put them in the washer w/ regular towels, and now whenever I use em, it leaves these little things that look lint all over the damn surface (Ive only used them for my windows). The only way I can get them off is by rubbing it off. Has anyone ran into a similiar situation? Or have any tips? Thanks

I always soak them in a bucket with just a small amount of detergent. Rinse well and then throw them in the dryer. I also bought mine at Costco and have used them over and over without any problems.

crazychris-
your choices are:
1. use those for "rag towels" (under the hood, under the car, etc.)
2. wash them again by themselves- sometimes works, depending on the towels
3. hand pick out the lint and then wash again

even after the above, you might find that #1 choice is the safest (least likely to cause swirls!)- at least now you know to only wash mfs with other mfs...
