Interior washing and drying
now...this is quite a stupid story actually but it happened and it represented a problem...so here it goes. Itz a beautiful sunny day outside with small leaves whistling and gently dropping to the road. So I figure, HELL!! I'll take the top down a go for a ride!! I hit a highway and all of the sudden a thunderstorm hits. Water EVERYWHERE in my car. My car seats were dripping, my dash was spotted, and I was soaking WET!! So I pull off immediately to the side of the road with my emergency blinkers and took my soft top cover off and pulled the top back on. I was pretty pissed the way home. The interior naturally dried in matter of minutes but left numbers of disgusting spots on my dash. So herez the "point" of this tread.
1. Has anyone had their S2000 accidently droven in the rain with the top down?
2. During a really heavy storm, did you know that your soft top leaks even when itz completely up?
3. How do I get the water sports off my dash?
4. If water entered the interior of your car, will it damage anything? (for example seats, switches, etc.)
So there you have it. PLEASE PLEASE send answers ASAP. And remember to ALWAYS check the weather conditions BEFORE you go out and drive with the top down.

This has never happened to me so my response is somewhat vague. I'd get towels and get the interior as dry as possible, then let it air dry over night. Next, I would treat the leather surfaces with some kind of leather care product. The rest that is not leather but plastic or vinyl, I'd use a protectant like 303 and wipe it all down to bring back its condition. The carpets just air dry. The switches, I wouldn't worry too much as this is a convertible and should be able to take some water in the interior. Hopefully someone else will step up with real world experiences.
xviper covered most of the important considerations...
the potential problems are:
mold & mildew and leather damage.
so, first and foremost, make sure the interior is completely dry (a fan will help here after towel drying)... next, treat the leather- and finally treat the vinyl parts.
