man that jag was in pretty bad shape! my 96 jeep grand cherokee with 200,000 miles (brother's now) has better paint than that, LOL.

Jooboy - yep it was pretty bad to start with - so not too bothered that i didn't get them all out. before and afters were pretty representative though. shame that at the end of the day the sun wasn't at the same height / intensity for perfect comparison pics but I can do much about that!

Feeling pretty knacked now though - think the machine polishing took about 4 hours - the constant vibration gets quite tiring

Just a tip.

I know halogens will never show everything like a quality sun shot but it keeps lighting consistent, and are great for comparison, as are the 50/50 shots!

Good luck!

BMWWW - thanks for the tip

Currently I have these

http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.js...=28456&id=14558

They are great and I did try them but the lighting was as such that they made little difference!

Are these the right things/ the lights you refer to???

Cheers Rob

Rob,

Those are very similar to the ones that I use, and utilize greatly for checking on my work, and for comparison shots.

I personally love 50/50 sun shots, as they show every little improvement made. (Especially on the bootlid and hood.)

Keep up the top-notch work!

Thanks for sending me a PM Wannabe

I hope I am not too late - I have been out of the country on vacation this past week and this is my first time back online.

In answer to your question it had been holding up pretty well until I started on the next line of polishes and waxes I wanted to try .........

I can say that JEFFS will remain in my polishing tool bag and be used often. I was pleased with the application and longevity also the GLOS for 'topping up' worked well.

Hope that helps

PS I also topped it with Poorboy's Natty's Blue with equally impressive results

Thanks Rob, you are kinda late, but that's not your fault, I got trigger happy and bought the Jett anyway.
