Meguiars #16 and #26
I was thinking of picking up a good, easy-to-use carnuba-based wax for use on customer's cars instead of relying on the relatively expensive Zaino or AIO/SG with P21S topper. I've heard generally good things about #16 and #26, but was wondering if I should hunt a tin of each down before they disappear completely.
What can I expect from these that I wouldn't get from, say, NXT paste or the synthetic/topper combos listed above? Are they going to be better on red and black cars, for example, than a strong metallic, where something like Zaino and AIO/SG seem to really pop?
I guess I've never really experimented with carnubas because I found my Zaino a long time ago and haven't really felt a need to branch out.
Thanks for any input.

i think you answered your own question!!
if i understand it, you are looking for an easy to use, great deep shine carnuba.
p21s (or its marketing cousin- s100 for cost) would be my choice over the megs

Thanks for the reply, wanabe... My only concern with the p21s is its relative lack of longevity - from what I understand, the soon to be gone forever 16/26 (thanks to VOC regulations) offer a great deep shine and while more difficult to work with, offer a longer-lasting protection than the p21s.
I was hoping some folks here had experience with it. I may just stick with the p21s...
Thanks.

my experience has been that i am not able to tell the difference in how long a carnuba lasts...
i can tell that synthetics are on the car a lot longer than any carnuba that i have tested. so i go for the easiest to use carnuba for my wax over synthetics.

C'mon guys. We're enthusiasts here. This is a labor of love. What's with all this lack of durability talk? You mean it's too much trouble to wax every couple of months?
16 and 26 are still great waxes, but I think NXT pips them both.
P21S is twice as much a can of NXT. And I could barely get my shlong in that kiddie jar let alone the dinky applicator.

hahaha... after some indecision I think I'll be going with AIO-prepped #16 or P21S for most carnuba-preferring customers, AIO+SG for sealant preferring customers (or Zaino, for extra $$), and AIO-prepped Souvern paste for super high-end red or dark-colored garage queens (Ferrari, Mazarati, Lamborghini, classics).
