Default Meguiar's NXT

Two questions:

A. Can I put a "pure" carnauba wax over the top of this without removing much of it? I have Meg's #26 Yellow Wax that I was considering using.

B. Even if it is OK to do this am I going to be getting any thing positive out of this? Hoping for a little increased durability with winter coming up and all.

My steps would have been Meg's #7 Glaze, NXT, and then #26 Wax.

Thanks,
Brian

Ok, thanks. I felt that the NXT gave a decent shine for a one coat (less effort than other paste carnaubas I've used though), but the pictures make me want to go do a coat of #26.

What you see above is Klasse (synthetic) topped with Meguiars Gold Class (carbnuba). Looks killer!

If you have the time clay the paint. It will remove old wax down to the paint. Then NXT for durability followed by carnuba for gloss.
NFR, nice job

Car is about 1.5 months old and this is the first time I've waxed, so I didn't do any stripping, just used the glaze to fill in the most of the light scratches. I ran the carnauba over the car for a second layer and I think I see some more gloss (placebo effect ). It's well past sundown so I'm basing this on artificial lighting, I'll have to check it out more thouroughly in the morning.

Thanks all.

If your car looks good under flourescent light, your car will look amazing in natural sunlight.
