Post Mr. Clean auto wash does work!

I was very skeptical about product like this. No hand dry? Come on, I don't believe it.

Finally, I took the leap of faith and tried it on my VW.

BTW it is a 1998 Passat. Shiny huh?!

Klasses and porter cable all the way! Thanks Steve.

Here is the result.

Not a water spot!

Now the whole car....

Mr. Clean kick ass

hmm. I have been wanting to try it. I like the idea of having a filter on the hose. You use them for drinking, why not washing your baby.

looks good the hoth!

the experience that has been posted here before (in other posts) was that the filter is liked but folks often still dry the car themselves. and they use a car shampoo that they liked...

for those with water problems it sounds like a good filter- and glad you had a good experience with the product!

how long does the filter last before it gets dirty and need to be changed?

As I recall, 5 - 10 washes per filter and a replacement two-pack is something like $8. The hardness of you water will dictate how many washes the filter will last.
