Default My car got EGGED bad....

I'm so frickin pissed. I parked my car at a friends house (2 million house on lake michigan- its a landmark, so it was in a damn good neigborhood) and we went to a party a few blocks away. When i got back a few hours later, i noticed stuff all over the road, when i got closer, there were eggs all over my car, (probly 5 total, but it was all over the place) i took it to the carwash right away, and got all the stuff off. In the morning when it was light out, i looked closer, and mother fu**ers ruined my paint. theres the egged shaped spidering cracks in two spots where the egg hit, so ill need to repaint the driver side fender, and the driver side rear quarter panel (right by the gas door) On top of this i saw that the top was severely stained. I took it to my body shop, and they got the stains out of the top for me and didn't charge me, but they said i would definately need to repaint those parts of the car, and it may not match perfectly. also, someone kicked my rear bumper in the spot where it was scuffed, and now its completly torn open. I don't know what to do, and its going to be over $1500 to do this out of pocket, I'm afraid of insurance raising premiums if i claim it. I HATE KIDS (even though I'm 18 i know better than to egg a car, especially a nice one) Damn haters!

did you file a police report? your insurance should cover the damage, less the deductible... i know its still not the same as having the car without the damage. but you pay for insurance and this might be a time to use it. i would guess that it will cost more than you might think with the body work and repainting.

Damn, what is with kids and their animosity towards nice cars??? I would take the car to the police department and show them the damage that was done to your rear bumper and paint damage to your body panels. Then I would as a few of the residents near where you parked if they saw the incident happen. If one of them would vouch for you, then you can have a bit more to offer, but anytime an incident happens like this, the police are required to do a report.
After filing a report, you can submit your report # to the insurance and they can go from there.
I'd start asking around, who knows, maybe the asshats will be bragging about trashing your car and you can find em, kick em in the nuts, piss on em and egg their cars!!!

insurance premiums wont go up
i think you can do 2 claims a year and it should be fine

but i know 100% that 1 claim a year wont make it go up
