I've been using some meguiar's stuff i used to use on my integra, but it doesn't work that great on the s interior for some reason

this weekend i just notice with the top down, my passengar seat is full of makup/glitter junk on my seat, and the leather cleaner didn't get it off. is there anything else i can use to clean it up thanks.

really depends on what the makeup base was... it is possible to stain leather-

i would try townsends leather cleaner. if that gets it off, then you need to follow it with townsends leather preservative.

I just switched to Townsends from Lexol and before that I was using Maguiars as well. Totally different ball game. I am really impressed with Townsends. Just call them direct (732) 291-1895 and you can order it and ask them any questions you have.

Hey, sorry about the delay in responding, been rather busy these days...

The makeup issue should come off, if it is a wax base which most are, you could use mineral spirits to get the spot off and then go ahead and clean it and condition it as you normally would. Mineral spirits works great on the petroleum based marks like shoes scuffs and stuff like this. It will not harm the finish if you don't dig at it (anything will hurt the finish if you dig with it) so be rather gentle and then clean it after because it will leave a little bit of a gloss that can be taken off with cleaner and then condition because you probably stipped all the conditioner in the process.

As for the Townsend site, they have changed it all around, but you can still get the products via The Leather Institute website so go to www.townsendleathergroup.com and follow the link to The Leather Institute, we are all part of the same conglomerate and sell the same products...
