Need some advice
Hey guys. First time posting in this section! I've read posts here and it sounds like you guys are the experts. I was driving on the highway yesterday and drove into a small piece of tire rubber. i thought I drove over it but came to find later that it made contact with the lower front right, below the headlight. It made a black streak on my clear bra (3M) and I tried cleaning it off with glass cleaner (sans ammonia) and then a tiny bit of wheel degreaser (don't know if the latter was a great idea, but I really wanted it off!). It got much better but you can still see it when you look closely. Any suggestions. I think I read somewhere that you can clean clear bra's with vinylex or any form of vinyl cleaner. Is this correct? What's in vinyl cleaner that makes it effective on plastics?
Thanks in advance,
Dimitri
P.S. as I was rubbing the bra, I got the impression that you can score/scratch it pretty easily by too much rubbing. Anyone know if I'm at risk? I'm using microfiber towels, by the way.

dimitri-
you were told right... vinylex would be a good product.
so would 303.
do not spray it on the car- spray it on a rag to soak the rag. then pat it on the area and let it sit for a minute or so before buffing it.
if that doesnt work, i would try wd-40 next... and follow that with the vinylex or 303.
and yes, you can scratch a clear bra- but if you are careful and work with a clean microfiber and good product you shouldnt have that problem.
