Default Need Zaino Help!!!

I applied Z1 and 2 coats of Z2 about 6-8 weeks ago. It rained heavily over the weekend, and it's like the Zaino is totally gone? No beading, nothing?

I try to wash the car (01 prelude) every week, but occasionally it slides to 2 weeks. I use car wash soap, so it's not a soap issue, I also occasionally hit the car with Z6

Anyone else had this before? I mean no warning, nothing, the next day it's like someone stripped the Zaino off the car? It's still really shiney, but not smooth, and zero beading?

zaino doesn't bead

I'd wash with z7 soap and then re-apply a 3rd layer of z2 and then of course some z6 spray.

Uh.... "zaino doesn't bead"???

I have Zaino on two cars and they both bead water like crazy!

Something obviously happened to interfere with Zaino's bond. Maybe there was wax left on the paint (or some other product) before you applied it. I suggest you call Zaino Brothers and discuss with Sal.

Did you do the terrycloth towel test? Take a (clean) terrycloth towel and "twist" it against the paint applying moderate pressure. Did you hear a squeaking noise? If so, there's nothing between the towel and the paint. If you didn't hear a squeak, you still have some protection.

I stand corrected My zaino is now "beeding".. It's funny, soon after applying it, it rained and there was no beading.. Now after having 3 coats on and a mild to heavy rain.. beading has appeared.. weird ??

oh well.. zaino beads.. bottom line..

sometimes rainwater doesn't bead, especially if i left my car parked underneath a tree and the water on the car got filtered thru the leaves and picked up dirt etc on the way.

something doesn't make sense. Looks like it did not bond. Remove Zaino and start all over.
Make sure you apply z2 on top of z1. Also, if using only z2 not in conjunction with zfx allow it to dry depending on the temp. outside or inside where you are applying. You can leave it on overnight. This should definately work. i have zainoed like 5 layers and after two heavy day of raiining the car is still smooth. i will wash it using zaion soap today and 2 more layers. wooo-hoooo.
