waxing new paint
As much as it upsets me, My S was hit last week by a 90 year old woman in a buick. My door was open..and i reached over to grab my bag, and as i stepping out she hit my door. Did not cause a whole lot of damage, she caught the last 1/2 in of metal on the outside of the door, but it was enough to peel up about 3 inches like a banana. Ive only had my S for a month and it makes me down right sick. Its in the body shop now getting a new door. My question is this: I just ordered zaino before the accident, ive always heard that you should wait several months to apply wax after new paint has been put on the car. Is this true?

i agree with xviper... i would also ask if they will be clearcoating the part that they repair (the rest of your car has a clear coat on it). if clearcoated, they you can wax right away-
in any case, the person who is painting the car is the best person to ask.

as long as they are using current paint technology, it will be zaino-able in 7-10 days . . . . .
todays paints dry by chemical reaction . . . you still are better off waiting on a wax. but again, zaino can be 7-10 days . ..
