Default oldbee learns from newbee!!! (drying the car)

i have been detailing my cars for several years... and have all the tools known to modern man for the task- or so i thought!
i have dried the car using chamois (my favorite until now), the blade, towels, synthetic chamois, leaf blowers (never used for leaves!), etc.
after reading about the big blue towel, i had to try it... it is an absorbant micro-fiber towel that really sucks! it sucks so well that it dried almost the entire car without ringing out!
i am sold- big blue for wanabe!!
a couple of thoughts:
1. it really takes two big blues to dry our car completely, or
2. maybe if i bladed or leaf-blew the car first maybe one towel would have worked

anyone else here using big blue?

I use big blue. I have in stock and will sell once the site is up.

I can do the car in ONE pass, no wringing. Great stuff!

Classic has good stuff, but WOW are they expensive. I'll have the big blue on my shelf for $17 when I can get my site up. But if you want one in the meantime, PM me and we'll take care of it. I have plenty in stock.

btw, just noticed this great tip on the site that is mentioned above:

"For best results, all Microfiber towels should be washed separate from cotton towels. Lint from cotton towels in the wash water will be captured by the Microfiber towel. This can leave a lint trail the next time the Microfiber towel is used."

A great tip I learned from a detailer in my area. Take all nozzles and sprayers off the hose. For your final rinse run the hose stream on all the body panels from the highest point and just let the water run off. You'll be amazed at how dry the car will get without any help from a towel. Your car must be well zainoed/waxed to use this method. One 16"x16" microfiber usually dries my car.
