(even qualifies you for a wacko badge- if you agree, pm me and i will find an extra one for you- just made up a new batch... )

be sure to let all those last stage products cure before you add the next one.
and i can see that you will want to have a good dust cover- the honda cover is a good choice (my car is in the office garage, cover on right now)
Yeah i have the OEM cover on the car right now. Yeah im going to let the SG cure 24 hours before adding another layer.

So I've heard mixed details about fresh paint (Want to know for when I get mine back)

What all can you do after you get your car back from a fresh paint?
Is there a difference if the paint is air dried or baked (Mine's going to get baked)
How long should you wait before applying AIO's?
Sealants?
Waxes?

Want to know, because I'm impatient, and want to make my car shine again when I get it back.
If yours is getting baked, i would just wait about a week before adding sealent/wax. You can polish and clay right away when you get it back.

(Throwing these questions out there)
What exactly is meant by paint "Gassing out"?

Why can't you apply waxes and sealants immediately?

cant apply waxes immediately cause they trap in the gases that new paint gives off...

new paint has to cure (dry and as it cures, it releases small amounts of solvent gases- called out gasing)

some processes can reduce the cure times- so only the body shop knows how long their process will need to cure

Can I apply a paint sealant such as Jetseal after my car gets painted? or do I have to wait for it to gas out still?

I don't know if they were baking them or not.... they have the booth to bake them in.... but when I went back there last week, one of my fenders was sitting out drying so idk.

How long before I can Paint seal it? Or Sealant Glaze?
