what do you guys reccomend for getting rid of small fine scratches for plastic?

try plexus, there are multiple, multiple threads on plastic cleaning. Try searching for something called 'plexus'...

plexus is absolutely the first step... and then if you need it, a plastic polish might be helpful

I have Plexus and it is a good "cleaner" but a lousy polish. I bought Meguiars "PlastX" to remove some scratches on my instrument panel. it worked the first time. Now I just clean it with Plexus.
