Glad to see you went with the whole edge kit instead of orange, blue, white... I was going to say if I had to choose 3 edge pads, I would have gone with yellow, green, blue... (blue and white are both mostly finishing pads with white getting the "edge" in regards to softness). Green is what I've found that I needed for most older cars with some panels needing yellow.

Yes, good idea getting the kit. The orange/blue/white would have been REALLY hard to work with since the orange doesn't really remove swirls that well. It's a good intermediate pad that cuts back marrs left from green/yellow pad.

I bought a new bottle of Ragtopp. I went back to Ragtopp just to see if I was missing something after my last few experiences with it.... nope. It rained at an event last weekend and ran all over my car. I thought this stuff an't supposed to do that? It also feels and goes on greasy compared to 303. Back to 303 for me.
I did the same thing! I tried Raggtop again once and I just didn't like it as much as the 303.

Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.

Excellent choices.

You still need to buy yourself some wax though. Also, if you're looking for something that looks really matte for the dash get some DP Interior Suface Protectant. For an interior cleaner, Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer works really well and is locally available.
Ahhh man

You are right, I forgot to get some wax

What wax would you add to my kit?

If your looking for something cheap and decent.. just grab some meguiars gold class from your local autostore, target, walmart, etc. You can always get better waxes/sealants later on.

I do have Meguiars Gold class liquid and paste wax at home already. I have not used it yet on the S. Is this wax decent?

EDIT: I just read the above message. I will try it out

Couldn't say. I haven't used it since it first came out which was probably 10 years ago and I think they've changed the formula since then to comply with VOC regulations.

There's better stuff out there, but since you already have some at home, no need spending extra cash to buy more wax. Just realize it probably won't last as long as some of the more durable stuff out there if thats even what your looking for, so you'll have to rewax more often.
