Default Polishing 3rd brake light?

I have some swirl marks on the center brake light lens. Can I polish this with Menzerna SIP with an LC Orange pad during my paint polish process? Or, should I tape up the brake light while polishing paint, then revisit the lens with a different product after paint polishing?

Cheers!

I imagine that you should be able to polish it. I don't know if you should polish it separately from when you polish your paint. I don't know if they're made of the same type of plastic or not, but I used Meguiar's M105 and a yellow LC pad on my headlights and that worked fairly well.

I'd assume you'd sand it and polish it like you would a headlight.

for light swirls, some light polishing compound and a white pad works wonders. you can use the orange pad, but be careful with the amount of pressure. im sure it will work great. no need to sand it unless it has some of the infamous "tinting" to it which comes with age.
