Default Practicing my Buffer skills.

*BETA TESTING* My skills

Sunday after work buddy and I dropped by my place. We decided to experiment with products & buffer I recently purchased at www.detailersdomain.com. His Hood was too hot to mess with but trunk and Roof was a great test spots.

Products.
- Meguiar's Clay
- Meguiar's Ultimate Compound *I could only imagine how good the M105 is*
- New PC 7424XP
- UBER Orange Medium Polish *Cutting* 5.5" pad
- Meguair's NXT 2.0 Topped with Gold Class

Method.
- Prime the pad with Meg's Quick Detailer
- Spread the Ultimate Compound by hand followed by Speed 2.
- Work the Ultimate Compound at Speed 5 for about 3 to 5 Minutes. 10 Pounds of pressure and last minute with no pressure at all.
Two passes. *Man you can work this stuff forever! Doesn't seem to dry forever*

Sorry no before pix. But the paint was in a horrible condition *Rest of the car still is*. Swirls, I mean this black was practically gray. Here are the results...

ZOOMED IN TO THE ABOVE PICTURE *Top Right Corner*
Ooops Fubared my spelling there. Sorry!

phil is suggesting that you "step down" to a lighter polish to get any polish haze from the compond. a swirl remover (light polish) would probably be a good step down.

it was just UC it finishes so well that following up with finer polish or less aggressive pad was really no need. At least it looked near darn perfect
