Protecting/cleaning suede
Well, for a couple years now, I've been wanting a suede steering wheel. I'm finally about to pull the trigger on a Mugen III wheel. I've been reading on suede steering wheels for a while now. And I've seen lots of people complain about how fast it wears/fades.
Would any of you have any recommendations to keep it looking close to new? Possibly get a suede brush, and brush it every once in a while? I was also thinking about getting some type of suede spray(like 3M), but I'm not sure if that would be good for a steering wheel. Seems people usually use that stuff for seats and door panels.
Any help would be appreciated!

You could clean it with this:

Protect it with this:

And this might be gentle enough to brush it. It's small so it will fit nicely in the hidden compartment:

Hope this helps. I never had anything suede, so this is the best advice I can give you.

Well, I bought some Leather Masters suede/nubuck protector. Got it in the mail today. Ordered a Sparco suede steering wheel and it should be in tomorrow.
I plan on spraying the wheel with this stuff before I install it. Scary thing is, this stuff smells like your typical paint out of a rattle can. I'm a little skeptical to just spray it with this stuff.
