Default Protecting matte finish paint

Hey guys im looking for someone with insight on protecting matte finish paint, without creating a shine. Ive done some research but everyone seems to have the same answer that this or that "might" work. does anyone have any experience with protecting the finish without creating a shine? Thanks in advance.

is it clearcoated?

you could try wax and synthetics on a low part of the car- you should be able to find a combo that will minimize the shine. waxes and synthetics can add some shine but usually just pop out what the polish produces. i think that you will want to stay away from most polishes.

i have never dealt with matte finishes and am guessing you can protect with waxes and/or synthetics. i am also guessing that you can not polish.

so my "it might work" is to try anything on the lower parts and you will know for sure !!
