Default Leftover Swirls

Ok I'm sure this has been covered but I just searched for a bit and didn't get the answer I wanted. I'm looking for professional advice!! If I do a paint correction with Meguiars Ultimate compound followed by a Simoniz polish then a Mothers carnuba wax and I still have swirls, what am I missing? Is the the fact that I'm using generic products, or is there something I'm missing.. My paint is definatly mint but there are just small tiny tiny swirls left, what should I do? I want my paint immaculate!!

MF Towels, you need a plush quality MF towel after jeweling the paint so you don't re-mar the finish.

I have never been a fan of Simonize products. I would suggest an easy on/off sealant like Menzerna Powerlock or Black Fire Wet Diamond, and if you want to top with a wax a good liquid one like Prima Banana Gloss works nice on the Silverstone color. Just keep up with a liquid wax and you won't have any problems with life. I usually use Prima Hydro every few car washes and Prima Slick after short drives just to keep it looking nice and the LSP healthy.

Honda paint is pretty soft. I use Meg's M205 as my finishing polish and it gets pretty good, but a lot of people say you need a jeweling polish like PO85RD. I'd guess that you still have swirl after you finish with your polish. Have you cleaned it and inspected it prior to waxing?

And +1 for BFWD.

Are you using a machine polisher or are you polishing by hand?

I had to use (and still do). Menzerna micro polish to completely remove all imperfections.

I got mine from Detailers Domain a while back not sure if they still carry it.
