Never used World's Best Wax, but I never understood why people like P21S so much. I never thought it was that great. Easy to use? ABSOLUTELY! How does it look? Average IMO.

i dont remember using p21s alone, but i do love it over synthetics... especially when you consider how easy it is on and off.

i also love to "finger rub" lusso oro (using my fingers and hands to apply).

just thinking and its been a very long time since i waxed alone. prob at least 5 years. synthetics are my go to, and i often (more like usually) top them with carnaubas- and i do like p21s for topping synthetics.

like mikeyc, i have never used wbw.

Worlds Best Wax is a very nice wax. I have the Connisseur (sp?). Which one were you thinking of getting?

If you opt for p21s, save some money and order S100 instead.

p21s is nice, but is very short lived in the durability area.

I have used many great waxes over the years and to be honest I find many of the top waxes to have very similar results. I went through an entire container of pink worlds best. I found it to produce excellent shine and was super easy to take on and off. Right now my wax of choice is luso oro...I feel it lasts a bit longer than worlds best.

We all really do have to be careful however as marketing and "internet peoples" opinions can play a large role in what we "perceive" to be the best.

There's only so much one can do with the ingredients that make up a carnauba paste wax. Don't get caught up in the marketing. 95% of us wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a $70 tub of Souveran and a $1500 Zymol in a test on identically prepped cars anyway.

Thanks Ubitit for thr straight answer.
Meaning that if I'm happy with my Klasse AIO + P21S,I should stick with it.

And that most people (on a street driven car )won't be able to tell the difference between my set-up,and a $1500.00 Zymol wax...

That answer my question.

(I feel a little dirty agreeing with Ubetit though)

There is definitely a point of dimishing returns when it comes to car wax.

I've heard a quote attributed to Mike Phillips of Meguiar's fame: "Find something you like and use it often." Whoever said it, it's good advice.

If I'm pleased with the way that ProductA looks, that's all that matters. I'll spend my money on it. If it actually looks different, ok; if it actually looks the same as something else but the "placebo effect" causes me to prefer it, so be it. It's my money and I'll spend it on what pleases me, for whatever rational or irrational reasons.

Emil,

We corresponded a year or so ago because I liked the way the P21S looked on your red S2000. I'm using some other products and haven't ordered P21S, but I do think it looked good on pictures of your red S2000. You like it, which matters; I like it, which doesn't matter. Sounds like you've found the product you like: use it often.
