Default removing paint from plastic trim

My friend just bought a Silvia and the car has been repainted from black to white and some of the white is on the black plastic around the windows. Does anyone know whats the best method to remove the paint from the trim? It was painted about a year ago. The body is in great condition just has a few spots on the trim. I tried my fingernail and clay to no avail. Is there a product out that can make this easier to take off? Thanks for the help.

should have had the body shop fix it...

and clay when it was new shoulda worked- now that it has sat its gonna be a pia to get off, espcially since it has cured so much that you cant even pick it off.

try some fingernail polish remover on a small area first (use the brush that it comes with). do not get any on the paint and do your best to keep it off of the plastic/vinyl. if you get any on anything other than the paint, wipe it off immediately (cloth only- no paper plse). if you can kinda blob it onto the paint and let it sit for a minute or two it should soften the middle. as long as its going onto the paint only, you can try diff "sitting times". remove with an old rag what you (fingernail inside the rag) can then repeat until its gone.

if it is still stubborn and does not respond to the finger nail polish remover, post back. the problem is that most products that would work will also damage the vinyl or your paint...
