Eventually it'll break down. Until then, you can help it along by using the RaggTopp cleaner and a soft bristled brush.

Be a little extra careful next go-round .

or toothbrush

agree with s98d7fs
top cleaner and brush-
or
toothbrush or all purpose cleaner or dawn

top cleaner is the least likely to remove wax from your paint when you rinse it off of the top-

Some type of Vinyl top cleaner (303, Raggtop) and, as far as brushes I use just a soft bristle wheel brush that you can get at any auto parts store.

Believe it or not I read that using peanut butter to get wax residue off trim parts is good. I imagine the oil breaks down the wax.

I haven't had the courage to try it on my CRV.

I don't think I would trust PB on the vinyl top though.

yup, it works... several other choices-
with pb, you work a small area with a brush- the pb breaks down and kinda dusts off like polish after a while
as with any process, if you try it be sure to try in a small area that does not show as much first- then expand once you are comfortable with it.
wash the area after the removal and then reprotect it.
