Being a first time convertable owner I'm counting on this forum to point me in the right direction. I have heeded your advice and it has saved my car's roof and finish. I greatly appreciate the advice I have gotten here.

What I need to know now is what to use on the roof seals. That nice, very important piece of rubber that must stay pliable after hours of driving in the sun and dry air.

Any suggestions?

Shin-Etsu grease. You can get it from a dealer (or http://www.handa-accessories.com).. there are numerous threads about it.
