I just washed the car on Saturday. Since then it's been rained on once and rinsed+QD'd back to clean. Would it be safe to QD the car as a prep for wax? If so, I could put another layer on everyday after work, when the sun goes down.

While I have this thread open, what do you guys use to clean under the hood? A friend recommended Engine Bright. Anyone have experience with this?

 

I am curious about this also. I use simple green to clean under the hood. Just make sure it is a cold engine beforehand.

imo, the risk of swirls is too great
