Default Scratches on trim

I just purchased Adam's VST from detailersdomain to treat the black trim around the windows. From my understanding products like this simply restore the darkness and look of the trim, but does it also remove scratches? I have lots of scratches on the trim below the driver's side window. Any idea how i can get rid of these?

i assume that you mean vrt instead of vst??
if so, it is a dressing and will make the trim look better but will not remove scratches.
to remove the scratches you have to use a plastic polish... and those arent the easiest products to use, imo!
if you decide to go polish, take it easy and practice on a part that isnt fully visible (under hood has lots of those, or under the car).

ooops yeah Adam's VRT

It looks like 3M, Duragloss, and Mother's have plastic polishes. Have any experience with any of them? Is it safe to get the polish on the glass or paint?

It mentions in the description that it can be used on plastics as well, but the mothers and even the 3M product is cheaper. Thanks for the help wanabe!
