Softening the leather

don't get carried away trying to find the perfect product. I use Townsend leather products on my car but keep up my leather couches with Lexol.

while it is easy to hydrate the leather of a non-coated home couch, or perhaps on a Rolls Royce, the seats on the S2000 are heavily coated and don't absorb much of the product. Most of the absorption occurs through the perforated holes and the stitched seams, trying to get product to absorb right through the material won't work very well on S2000 seats.
