Thats ****ing HOT. God I want the weather to warm up here... got about half an inch of ice today... FYI: I hate you people in warm weather.

I used about half the bottle of the protectant when I applied it the first time.

First I sprayed it on sections of the top, then rubbed it in with a cloth. I worked with a 1 ft x 1 ft section each time.

Although it has gotten darker over time, it may still benefit from another application.

By the way, that picture is now my background and thats ALOT of Raggtopp... I've used mine like... 3 or 4 times, and it's maybe a third gone?

Sorry, none of those products are going to restore a faded soft top. They will darken somewhat but it is temporary. This is the reason a a vinyl protectant needs to be used from day 1 of ownership.


I would not use Back to Black. On a piece as big as your top you WILL get streaking. It is tough to get the color even.

is it a benefit to use the corresponding vinyl cleaner (ie: raggtop vinyl cleaner) or will just scrubbing with regular car soap and water do?
