Thumbs up Stupid Me

So i was trying to get home and was in a complete rush.
i come into my usual space lined up with everything.
and to my surprise i guess i wasnt IN enough

so im running into the door and i hear a CSHHHHH
and in my head im thinking "oh god...."
and i slowly turn around and i see nothing so im like ....okay
then later on i go to my car and see that the garage has scratched my rear bumper.

im pretty sure the body shop will have to repaint the whole bumper
any suggestions?

i dont have a camera...
but the scratch is INTO the bumper.
like black molding of the bumper is showing

yes i know im dumb...but my little bladder was about to explode.
please be kind!

I think you're going to have to get it repainted.

if the paint is gone you can try a diy but its gonna be easier to have a body shop do this.

you cant make it worse by trying to polish- if you want to try it you would prob start aggressive. a compound with high cut pads and the best machine you can handle. you wont be able to restore paint, but it will take out the small scratches.

so if much of the paint is gone a repaint is the only real choice.

pics would help, but i heard you-
and i feel your pain...

s2ki is working for me right now.

Do you have a camera phone that can at least take some crappy pics?
