Default Swirl Marks

I have swirl marks on my black paint. Which product is recomended - 3M or Menzerna? And what should be the starting level of product (ie-3m machine polish followed by 3m ultra-fine machine polish)?
I will be using my porter cable.

Menzerna works extremely well with the S2000's.

take a look 50/50 shot of S2000 with Menzerna SI1500 followed by Menzerna SF4000

There are more products than 3M and Menzerna, and I believe Menzerna is not the most used product. I don't know of many people who use 3M.
Look into Meguiars 105.

Meguiars is definitely good stuff. I really want to try it out. I've tried the Menzerna combo a few times on my Berlina and it just won't work for me. I'm convinced it's something to do with the super soft Berlina paint. I've used Menzerna on plenty of other cars with great results but can't get it to work on the Honda black. I ended up using some 3M stuff that worked well.

I had the same experience with Menzerna polish on Berlina. Lots of micro-marring if I used something like Power Finish. I was about ready to give up using Menzerna on that particular s2k colour. But then I tried Menzerna PO85RD (with a porter cable) and had great success! I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

I take it back. The Menzerna Fine Polish I have (can't remember the product number but something about 106 sticks in my head) works just fine it's the super intensive polish that I'm having a ton of trouble with. That's been one of my favorite products to this day. Has worked great on other black cars too just not my s2000. And it only seems to be s2000 black b/c my silverstone was cake with it.

That seems like an awfully large amount of product on that pad.

Menzerna all the way! Just remember your clear coat is very soft so it shouldn't take much to get rid of the swirls. Start out with something light like a finishing polish and if that doesn't do the trick step up to something a little more aggressive.
