Default Tagged on bumper

so i got to work this morning and i always back up into my parking spots. so when i was leaving my car i looked back at it and noticed that someone had written on my front bumper with some kind of marker. i dont think its a paint pen because i cant feel it so i just think its permanant. how can i get this crap off my car? plz help

Is it permanant marker? If so just use clay and rub it off, if that doesnt help polish that spot. Worked for me.

I would try some kind of solvent like Goo Gone or maybe a bug & tar cleaner

Or Zep Graffiti Remover. That stuff removes just about anthing.

I wonder if that might be too strong to use on a car's paint though. I would check the label before buying it and make sure it's OK to use on a painted surface.

I know some new car dealers that use it when vandals tag their cars with spray paint. I figured if it's ok for dealers to use on brand new cars, it's probably safe enough. I used some on my beater when I bought it to remove 5 year old sap that NOTHING would remove, and I tried everything short of sandpaper....stuff worked like a charm and didn't appear to hurt the cars finish in any way.

I WOULDN"T use it on freshly painted finishes though....and it should be a last resort.

try using a mild polish to see if that takes it off.
