Default Touch up paint.

What's the best method to apply the touch up paint? Should I use the brush or the pen? Should I clay bar the area before applying?

don't buy the pen. I ordered it twice now in NH547 (berlina), but the warehouse keeps sending NH547P (baltic blue). I had a chance to play around with the blue pen and its a piece of shit. I'm glad i got my refund. I ordered the normal touch up paint canister which has a pen tip on it and a brush for normal use.

Yeah I got the OEM one. Just wondering which method is better. Or is it situational?

It's really hard to get the ball-point of the pen to roll on slick paint surfaces, so you can almost never get the paint flowing out of it. I quickly gave up on that and just used the brush.

I've got the pen which doesn't seem to me to be a very good match color-wise. If your car is black or white there should be no problem but any other color, I wouldn't have much confidence. If you already have the pen, experiment with it and see if you can make it work for you. I have no expertise in doing touch-ups and finally gave up and had it done for me at a body shop.
