Default TREE SAP HELP:

okay the title explains it all .. i just got really lazy to keep covering my car so one day i didnt n com to find about 7 tree sap markings on my car :{ any way to remove with out goo gone cuz that stuff fades the paint>?

several sap products out there... what ever you use, go slow... test it to make sure its working properly and be sure to rewash and rewax the car after the removal.
(you can also use sw-40, mayonnaise and several others... but easiest is a product made for this)

Before any chemicals I use one of the local DIY quick spray washes with hot water.

It depends somewhat on the type of tree the sap came from. The worst I have ever encountered are those big sap globs that come from pine trees. I have never had any luck with any product for these except for denatured or rubbing alcohol. Ironically, just a small amount of the alcohol on a rag will get it off.

Anybody try Goo Gone.. its made from citrus stuff and I use it to get sticky stuff off of everything.

WD-40 has never failed me in all the times I've had to deal with sap of any kind.
