i got the car back from the shop over week ago and they waxed the car right before i got the car they also made some nasty swirls all over my car... it was almost swirless before. new painted area seems to have alot more swirls like ALOT million of em.. whole paints covered in swirls.. im not even sure if pc can get the job done.... bodyshop owner said its ok to wax no need to wait for weeks.. but im not comfortable with this,so i decided to get rid of wax by washing the car with dish soap. is it safe to wash the new paint with dish soap(dawn)? and is there any other ways to get rid of wax. is it safe to polish new paint? i cant stand this swirls.. i was going to wait couple month before polish but i never seen so much swirls in my life even my sisters 4 years old accord that never been detailed doenst have this much swirls...

yup, its o.k. to dawn the car... if they said its o.k. to wax it, they should know.
in any case, it is safe to remove the swirls if you want.
pretty bad for a body shop to swirl a car!

i would complain and make them fix it or pay for you to take it somewhere else. for your peace of mind pretty much anything will 'buff right out.' i've seen some AMAZING before and after pics.

Personally, i wouldnt let anybody but myself work on my car like that. anything detail related i just do myself. if I were you Id just bring it back and tell them to fix it, and take their time doing it.
