WOW! Where do I get a dealer like yours? Mine gave me a ton of swirl marks on my four day old car.

90 mph leaf blower is kinda anemic. Mine goes 200 mph and I have great success with it. It helps to have the car polished with something like Zaino to make the water blow off better. I'm sorry to hear your first attempt was a bust.

Hey Xviper!

I wondered when you'd show up. Reading your posts on this topic inspired me to give it a try.

While drying my car, I couldn't help but wonder "Is this leaf blower thing somehow related to cold Canadian weather?.... Must be a cultural thing..... Maybe Xviper hasn't heard of towels.....MAYBE Xviper is hosing everybody (get it?)....Does Xviper use his leaf blower to blow dry his hair?...Does he even HAVE hair? That avatar might really be him!

Washing the car is usually illuminating for me.

Do you dry your firetruck with that thing?

I have heard that a good thing to do with a well waxed car is to remove the spray nozzle from the hose and just let the water flow off the car for its final rinse. This way the majority of the water just falls off the car. Sounds logical.

I use the Wiper blade also and your right, it gets about 90% of the water off, I follow up with a microfibre towel and I am very happy with the results.

This definitely does work, but it's a lot easier to get a spray nozzle with multiple spray patterns. I use a Sun-Mate (< $10 at Home Depot) that has a "full" setting that is basically the same thing. I also don't have to worry about wasting water or running back and forth to turn the water off. Then again I'm not supposed to be washing my car in Texas. =)

Xviper,

DAYUM, that's a hoss of a blower! And 200mph is like TORNADO strength! How do you man-handle something that large and powerful?

Wait......I know. You bolt it to anchor bolts in your driveway and then DRIVE your car around it!

Those Cannucks......always thinkin'!
