Sgt. Skidmark (great monniker BTW), my s is a daily driver here in Ohio. I wash my car weekly ($.25 wand wash-no brush) and the top every other time. I apply 303 every time after I wash the top, but I think you'll find in the summer that will only be neccessary about every 3 months. 303 also makes a protectant that is similar to 3m fabic treatment. Its called 303 high tech faric guard. Its a water and stain repellent. I used it this past summer, and it works quite well. In fact, I think it is still working somewhat even now. You have to wait til summer though, it says to apply in the direct sun at over 70 deg, then it needs to dry for 24hrs.
