Default WEN System4 Cordless Buffer?

Check it out.
Please let me know if this is worth buying. I don't have my own garage where I can polish my car just yet. Instead I have to use a neighbor's garage, but there's no power there, and a cordless system would help me not to "impose" on my neighbor.

Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Unfortunately, cordless buffers do not offer enough power to do any meaningful polishing. It would pretty much only be good for applying wax which is easy enough to do by hand.

Anything made by Wen sucks. I had a few of their tools when I was a youngin, and they were just pure trash. I agree with Mikey, cordless buffers are usually POS's, unless its like a $900 dollar 18/24V Dewalt, or something of the sort.

How far is your closest power outlet to your neighbor's garage? You can probably get away with a 100ft. 14 gauge extension cord if it's within that distance and use a corded polisher.

Yup, I would use a long extension cord. As far as I know, the only REAL cordless buffers are rotary, and they are HELLA expensive.

You can only get prices like that back east. Out here in the west coast they're never discounted like that. I check weekly to see and still haven't seen it.

That makes up for the fact that you guys are close to everything then. Whenever I order something, its coming from Cali and takes a week to get here. Must be like 1-2 day shipping on the left coast.
