Default What a difference good products make

I just got back from washing and drying my car with the stuff I just got from Autopia. That stuff being a new wool mitt, good MF towels, and sonus carnuba spritz (yeah, I know, I didnt wax because I don't have all day today). All that stuff made a big difference over last years Target brand mitt and MF towels.

So again, A+ to Autopia for great products and service.

The sun was just right to make getting decent pics hard. But here are a few. There are still a lot of swirls, but I have everything I need (including a pop up canopy) to take care of that soon.

What I did:
Wash w/ Meg's Gold Class and Sonus Sheepskin Mit using 2 bucket method
Dry with Sonus MF Drying Towel
QD with Sonus Carnuba Spritz
Windows with Stoner Glass Cleaner
Top with 2 coats of Vinylex

Here they are...

You can use regular car wash soap to clean the wheels - works great.

Looks pretty good. You can easily get it cleaner with a PC and some polishes - Black looks SO GOOD once you refine the clear coat. I did one last Wednesday and I was amazed at how beautiful Berlina can be.

My hood looks just like yours - the last owner must have driven through a meteor field every day to work

Yeah, the hood is bad. If and when the S becomes my weekend car I will get the hood repainted.

I don't have a PC because I have no access to outlets where I wash my car. But I do have SFX-2, Klasse AIO, Menzerna Finishing Glaze, and P21S waiting to go on. I am hoping that makes the car look even better.

Great reflections there

Not sure what you guys use for exhaust tip polishing but here in the UK I use Autoglym Metal Polish or Autosol Metal polish. Guess you guys must have Megs NXT metal P too - that would finish the job off lovely

If that's seriously a "Wool" mit vs. a microfiber, you had better pitch it! Wool wash mit on black=MAJOR swirls.

The pics look nice!

Good luck---you'll be hooked!
