Default what equals what?

Im just starting out and Im a little confuse about what I need to buy. Ive read through the how to's and searched but I havent had these questions answered.

I plan to use z18 clay bar, menzerna intensive polish and then I get stuck. Do I use zaino z2 and then z6 or is z2 very similar to menzerna intesive? Does z6 equate to a sealant/protectant and do I wax on top for more depth?

Ive searched all over but its hard to find info about using zaino AND menzerna and what each does specifically. I want to know what each step is doing, not blindly following written out steps. Any help is very appreciated.

mike-
the confusion is caused by zaino - they call their products "polishes" and they really are not.
go first with your real polish- the menzerna ip - nice stuff.
then you can just do the z2 (do you have the accelerator?)- this is a protectant... like wax, but synthetic. and still in my top choices-

i finish off with a wax (p21s or lusso oro are nice over zaino, imo). but this is extra credit !

z6 is a "quick detailer" for between details. it can be used as a final step too, but i use wax instead.

cant wait to see pics of your clean car!!

Thanks for the clarification and recommendations.

No, I dont have the accelerator (zfx or something like that right?) Should I pick some of that up too?

Ive read of several people using z6 to lubricate the pads among many other things so I figured I would pick some up.

Thanks for all the help. Ill post up pictures as soon as I find the time to detail the car.

I would also recommend for the best results that after you use your Menzerna Intensive Polish that you follow up with a Menzerna finishing polish like 106FF, 106FA, or PO85RD.
