Default What to get for PC order?

Hi Guys, was finally gonna bite the bullet and buy a PC. What would you guys recommend to be a good starter kit to buy to use with the PC.

I was looking at Eshine.ca and found the PC with pad special (3 pads). Which pads would you recommend and then what compounds do you recommend starting with for using. Sorry if you answered this in past, but soooo much changes with time and polishes, I was wondering what you guys would say would be the best to use currently.

Thanks!

welcome to the board!
you have been around awhile as i recall... also original owner?
ever polished the car before, or is this the first time?

edge pads are now my favs...
which ones kinda depends on what youre gonna do with them-
same with the polish- hard to recommend without knowing what the task is.
got pics of your paint? or at least a description of what you are trying to fix?

Thanks! Don't have pics of my paint, but never been winter driven, and for an original '01 (only owner) its pretty good shape. The odd rock chip in the hood to fix and stuff. Other than that immaculate.

Right now car is in body shop
Mother of all door dings over my wheel well. Oh! got pics. Hold on. Will attach in a few mins. When I figure out how to...

Just looking for something to use with PC to maintain the paint and really give it some depth and clarity. Tell me what you think...

BTW... looking at Eshine, what color pads do you recommend? I can get 3 free with the combo. Don't know if that is the way to go...

I have Sonus pads right now, but I think I'm going to switch over to the Edge 2000 pads next time.

Paint doesn't look bad in either of those pics (except for the dent), but the lighting wasn't really optimal to "capture" swirls.

Sorry. As I said, the pics were taken more for the dent. The car is in the body shop for a week, getting fixed because the dent is too big to be pulled

Anyhow, no swirlies at all the I noticed so far. Car is never winter driven. 6 years old and 42K km on it. Paint is pretty immaculate, so just looking for the best to maintain it, and maybe help to buff done paint touchup. PC would also be used on my other cars.

Any recommendations guys? Hoping to have PC arrive when car is let go from autobody shop...

Thanks!

paint looks pretty good, but i seriously doubt there aren't any swirl marks unless u spend hours washing ur car with the upmost care. Just gotta look at it upclose and look like a fool in front of ur neighbors haha jk. How did you get that dent? that thing is HUGE!

Some assh*le with a red car put a huge door ding in the wheel well and decided to take off without owing up to their damage. Its double thickness steel over the wheelwell (so the autobody place tells me) so massaging the dent out won't work, and they said maintaining the contour of the well is impossible without removing the quarter panel and doing it properly. One hell of a dent

It'll take close to 1 week to fix the dent. So I'm on my motorcycle till then...

BTW, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend which pads to buy at least? I can order the PC that way and see re: kits/polishes later... (or if you can just recommend a good all purpose kind of one?)
