Default What pad to start with? (PC7424XP)

I purchase PC7424XP kit from detailersdomain and will be doing some correction on my heavy/deep swirled hood some time this week. I did get the UBER pads and my questions is....

Orange (Medium Polish)
Green (Polish)
Blue (Final Polish)
Black (Wax/Finishing)

UBER Orange Pad is "Medium Polish" it does not mention anything about "Cut" like other brands do.

- Does Orange pad cut at all or is it a polishing pad?
- Did DD on UBER pads simply used a different way of describing their bite and "Medium Polish" does cut after all?

- That being said should I start with the Green and Ultimate Compound combo instead?
- Or will orange and Ultimate Compound will get the job done right away and I can finish off with Green and SwirlX?

If you are a pro and confused by UC and SwirlX think (Ultimate Compound/M105) and (SwirlX/M105 Finishing)
UC(8Cut I think)and M105(12Cut) but both use the new abrasive technology.

Well kinda answered my own question here...

http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/show...ad.php?t=104813

So Orange is like Meg's cutting pad just a bit more firm. Ill start with orange and Ultimate Compound combo. Unless some one says otherwise from previous experience.

start off with something mild if your never sure.

such as a green pad and a mild compound like IP.

if that doesnt do it you have the option to step up to the orange pad first and try with the IP. if that doesnt work you go with orange and SIP.

its a step process

On my NFR with fairly significant swirling I found the orange pad with Menzerna Intensive Polish did a great job. I wouldn't go to a yellow pad but may try Menzerna SIP with the orange next time.
