what steps
ive never actually waxed/buffed a car. i got my car from the dealer already waxed. but think it needs to be redone.
i was just wondering what are the steps to do this like for ex. 1 wash car, 2 scratch remove, 3. wax, 4. buff. etc.. just was wondering what are the steps.. and also my friend gave me a "rocford" waxer/buffer is that any good? i know they sell those at walmart

as to your buffer-
our bros at the stang club can answer that question (and i agree with them):

for the "how to"- the best advice is to give you some more reading... cause it would take a whole book to answer your question!!
at the top of our board are the "how tos"-
check those out, and especially mikeyc's guide.

i have always felt that the best way to learn to detail is to take "baby steps"- learn to wash the car and then to clean and protect the inside first... do this until you are comfortable with the process- then move to polishing and protecting.
