it is very! hard to match the best bet is, some compains like ppg have made colors to match tri stage paint colors and can do so buy coming out and taking a samlpe of your paint color with a gun.
but its about imposable to match a tri coat just because you have to match the amount of the base and pearl coat. best bet the would have is to blend every panel that surrounds the damage your having fixed.
