Default Windshield chips

An unfortunate series of events occured where I was stuck behind a dump truck hauling rocks/sand/whateverthe%#$@. I managed to only get roughly 3 chips in the paint, but about 50-60 tiny chips in the windshield. What the heck can I do about this? Is there any way to get it out? Anything that will take the appearance of it away?

glass polish... zaino makes a decent one- i use the pc when i use it.

then very fine steel wool- if you have to

with both be careful, take your time and check the work constantly. start with a small corner.

and to manage expectations:
this only helps on small glass issues- wont repair large chips. can help them a bit
if its really trashed, either have a pro look at it or just get a new one.

i know its hard to get pics of glass, but if you can we might be able to see what we think about the repair. shoot from diff angles until you find one that shows off the chips.
