Default Wolfgang

I received a few sample ounces from a friend and really liked how easily this new polymer type sealant was to apply and to remove. There's no mixing of chemicals. As long as the surface is prepared it is ready to go. Most of all I liked the way it looked...

I ordered the kit with Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax which is my favorite carnuaba when price isn't an issue (s100/P21S is hard to beat for the money). Pinnacle not only is best smelling product on the market, the shine is incredible. For dark cars it looks wet for weeks. On light cars it seems to make them brighter. I thought I would top my Wolfgang Polymer Sealant with Souveran but I'm not so sure I'll need it after my test.

The paint on my trunk is in great shape so i didn't need to use any heavy swirl or scratch removal products. I did however use the Wolfgang pre-wax polish enhancer because I wanted to strip the paint of any leftover Zaino and Carnauba Moose. I used the Wolfgang pre-wax polish enhancer with a white pad (didn't need the heavier cutting of the yellow or orange pad) and my Porter Cable 7336. I worked that to a slight haze and removed it with a MF towel from Pakshak. The pre-wax polish enhancer was very easy to remove. The paint was perfectly smooth and didn't even look like it needed sealant at that point. I then put the black polishing pad on the PC and worked the Wolfgang Sealant to a light haze. I couldn't believe how easily Wolfgang Sealant is to remove. It's easier than Zaino, S100, even easier than the new NXT from Meguiar's.

How does it look?

It looks awesome. Half the trunk has also been topped with Souveran Paste wax and as of right now I can't tell the difference. I'll see if it attracts dust over the next couple of weeks. I'll also test for durability and beading over the next month or two of washings. I'll take some pics in the daytime and update this post.

If this stuff has even 1/2 the durability of Zaino I found a new sealant.

Excellent choice ! and man does that trunk look wet !

From what I've read, WG PS is making wonderful wet looking finishes.

Zaino has yet another Polymer competitor.

Along with Klasse, now there is this.

Wow, 3 top notch polymer sealers on the market..

Two months of durability would be awesome but you are right.... I really only need two weeks out of any product I use.

I have so many products being tested on my car I had to make a diagram to tell me where they all are. This may be the weekend that it all comes off and Wolfgang goes on.

The picture was taken with the camera on manual settings with no flash. The flash kept bleaching out the reflections. I'll take some when the sun shines today.

Hey Ubetit, nice writup

"If this stuff has even 1/2 the durability of Zaino I found a new sealant."

This is some really good stuff, I posted my impressions of the product in the thread above.

Basically, this stuff is a synthetic sealant that looks as good as any carnauba wax I've tried. Also it's layerable and extremely easy to put on and remove. That gets a huge from me

I think this weekend all the products and combinations on my car are coming off and the Wolfgang is going on. I'm starting to drive myself nuts.

I need to buy some little 2 oz. bottles to start sending out some free samples of all this crap I have.

I just went to Sabo camping here in Columbus to replenish my QEW stock and they were closing it out for $2 a bottle. Of course I bought all 8 bottles. At 1-2 capfuls a gallon i think i'm covered to the year 2312. Anyone want samples of QEW?
