Default Zaino application in hot & humid

live in South Florida where it will be hot and humid till November..any advise from anyone about using the Zaino system with this type of weather... does it have to be used exclusively inside to be effective, or maybe different times of the day are ok..thanx for the feedback..

hot and humid is much better than cold and wet!
i would go ahead and apply early morning (which is what i do anyway- i have detailed in fog, including zainoing; it doesnt get much more humid than that!)- i get ready as the sun is just beginning to rise, wash the car and detail it. i also do the process on the shade side of the house so that if i take too long the car will still be in the shade. my recollection is that zaino can be applied and removed in sun, but i wouldnt (i am old fashioned that way!).

Seems to dry faster if hot and less humid, but it works either way.

The humidity will slow down the hazing process but the heat will make it faster - The website says he has applied it in 100+ weather in Arizona and it hazed in a couple of minutes

I was zaino'ing this weekend in low 90's with 90% humidity in my garage out of the sun. I just gave it a little more than the normal 30 minutes and it wiped off just fine. No streaking or smearing.

Z7 wash & shammie (sp?) > clay bar > wash & shammie > Z5 > Z6 > Z2 > Z6 > Z2 ... Pheeeew ... sweated bullets

Wanabe, I was working the other end of the clock from you, 6:30pm -2:00 am. Wife accuses me of being obsessive.

You might want to consider the ZFX "accelerant" given your conditions. Zaino is not like wax that must be applied away from direct sunlight and heat.

I apply in HOT and Hazy Humid all the time and have no drying time problems whatsoever.. 15-20 minutes max of drying time.. honestly..

Things to consider.. if applying zaino for the 1st time, I was told to definitely use zfx.

however, if its adding multiple coats, then you don't need zfx and can add z2 and z5 with no probs..

I applied 1 coat and waited one hour, then the second coat.. but I left it on for almost 12 hours. It was a challenge to get it off, but I think the elbow grease was worth the results gained.

This week end will by my first time trying Z2 and Z5 both with ZFX. It's gonna be 90 and humid. Guess I'll let you know how it works.
